Prenatal Classes
There is no greater joy than bringing a new life into the world. Cuero Community Hospital’s Child Birth Center staff strives to make the birth of your child one of the most memorable experiences in your life. Classes are offered to expectant parents on topics such as labor preparation and newborn care to help ensure a smooth transition to parenthood. Our highly trained nurses provide invaluable training to help parents prepare for the blessed event!
If you are:
- pregnant
- having your first baby
- already have a baby
- planning Cesarean Section or a Vaginal Delivery
- Married, single or separated
Plan on joining us at CCH’s Childbirth classes held in the hospital education classroom.
You may choose to come alone or bring a spouse, friend or family member. You will learn the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, stages of labor, breathing and relaxing, vaginal delivery versus Cesarean delivery, breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, newborn care, choking infant rescue, infant CPR, and Anesthesia/Analgesia choices.
