Cuero Community Hospital Volunteers belong to the Texas Association of HealthCare Volunteers, a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting and advancing volunteer service in Cuero Community Hospital through a variety of activities and fundraisers.

Volunteers may work directly with patients serving coffee, delivering mail and newspapers, assisting in Radiology or simply welcoming patient and visitors with a friendly smile and greeting. Indirectly, they serve the hospital by making tray favors and activity bags for children, and stockings for the holiday newborns.

Volunteers' fundraising efforts have allowed us to update equipment and furnishings for the hospital and Wellness Center. These fundraising activities included operating the hospital's Wishing Well Gift Shop, Bloomingdeals Resale Shoppe, and sponsoring the Annual Fall Bazaar.
